Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition Review

The Motorola Moto G, launched in Q3 of 2015 , was a hit for it’s lag-free user experience , but even while many reviewers recommend it, there was a feeling that there were better hardware options for the same price. With the Moto G turbo, Motorola has addressed that feeling without messing around with the successful moto g formula.

For instance, looks-wise, the Turbo looks identical to the Moto G, yet it has additional dust-resistance built in, making the phone more durable and rugged. The Snapdragon 410 processor has been bumped up to a more potent Snapdragon 615 chip, which means everything is a wee bit snappier.

Everything else remains the same, from the camera to the similar-sized batteries, but the Turbo adds in fast charging to quickly juice up when you’re in a hurry. The Turbo really is the Moto G that Motorola should have launched in the first place. But if you’re not hot on the ruggedness of this phone, options from Lenovo and Xiaomi offer a fair bit more for the same price.
